Rasmus Hojlund, a Den who played for Atalanta, will join Manchester United, according to reports

After Mason Mount of Chelsea and Andre Onana of Inter Milan, Rasmus Hojlund joined United as the third addition of the upcoming season.

British media reported on Saturday that Manchester United and Atalanta have reached an agreement on the Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund to sign a five-year deal with a third-season option.

The 20-year-old will become United's sixth most expensive getting ever when he joins Old Trafford in a deal of 72 million pounds ($92.52 million), based on the reports.

Hojlund, who had played in the past for FC Copenhagen and Sturm Graz, joined Atalanta at the start of the Serie A season in 2022–23, and had an excellent season, hitting nine goals in the league.

After keeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan and Chelsea's Mason Mount, he is United's third addition of the summertime window.

Last year United's third-place result earned them a place in the Champions League. In February they also won the League Cup.
